Abstract:
The ""Love"" card depicts a young couple in richly deocrated contemporay dress clasping hands in a marital gesture. Blind Cupid, with a bow and arrow, hovers above. A small dog, possibly a greyhound, a popular breed in Renaissance courts and symbol of fidelity, rests below.
