Binding: Nineteenth century. Wooden boards. Quarter bound in brick-red goatskin. Bound for the convent of San Marco, Florence; title in gold on spine with number "232".
Collection of Sir Thomas Phillipps (no. 10371), who purchased it from Payne. Acquired in 1953 by Thomas E. Marston from C. A. Stonehill. Gift of Thomas E. Marston in 1959.
Script: Written and signed by the scribe Ioannes Skoutariotes, who finished the manuscript 4 October 1453.
Simple initials and headings, in red, at the beginning of each book.
Watermarks: Harlfinger Fleur 108, from a manuscript dated 4 Nov. 1445 and attributed to Ioannes Skoutariotes. - Extent
