Abstract:
A Tibetan watercolor painting on cotton that depicts Amitābha seated on a lotus throne presiding over Sukhāvatī, his celestial realm, surrounded by eight bodhisattvas and telve smaller buddhas and divinities, and behind a lake with two babies upon a lotus. The tanka includes a silk cover and ribbons.

1 painting: watercolor on cotton; 61.5 x 41.0 cm. mounted on silk brocade 107 x 58 cm.
