Life. MS. p. 321: Mention of the Dedication for Adams' Treatise on the Globes is found ante MS. p. 318. It is not marked for deletion of transposition there, so it was probably caught in the printing. Although not indicated for insertion by a particular symbol, the passage about Lexiphanes is found in Papers Apart (M 145, p. 328), with the heading: "Take this in at the end of the years 1767."
