Abstract:
Gladys Bentley (1907 - 1960) was an African American lesbian performer and blues singer. Prentiss Hottel Taylor (1907 - 1991) was an artist and printmaker. Nora Holt was an African American composer, musician and editor of her own publication "Music and Poetry".
