Abstract:
A Tibetan watercolor painting on cotton that depicts a Srid-pa-ho. The central figure is a large golden tortoise, representing the Bodhisattva of Knowledge, upon whom are drawn various geomantic diagrams, representing the nine magic squares and symbols of the eight planets. The tanka includes a silk cover.

1 painting: watercolor on cotton; 55 x 46 cm. bordered with silk brocade 110 x 79 cm.
