Abstract:
10/12/65-CRAWFORDVILLE, GA.: Dr. Martin Luther King urged the people of Crawfordville to press for "justice," at a rally here 10/11. The nation's top Negroe leader also told the rally, "There will be neither peace nor tranquillity [sic] until Negroes receive justice in Crawfordville." King returned to his home in Atlanta immediately after his 20-minute speech and did no[t] participate in a march to the courthouse.
