This group of artworks consists of: sketchbooks illustrating landscapes and scenes from life in Maine, New Haven (including scenes of Yale), Cuba, New York State, Florence and Rome; pastel landscapes; pencil studies of portraits, figures, animals, and landscapes; watercolors of still lifes, people, and landscapes; three unstretched oil canvasses; studies for decorative designs; and chalk portraits.
