Probably part of a map attributed to R. Sayer, based on maps by d'Anville and materials by Thomas Pownall; first issued in 1763 by J. Gibson and reissued over 31 years by different publishers. Stevens and Tree describe various issues in Tooley's Mapping of America, p. 50-52; this copy similar to descriptions of the 1783, 1786, and 1794 issues.
