Title and woodcuts within ornamental borders; D. Zenaro's device on t.-p.; italic type.
The woodcuts after the designs of C. Vecello are by "Cristoforo Guerra, tedesco, da Norimberga" who very probably is identical with Christoph Chrieger. cf. p. 155 and 200, and Thieme-Becker, vol VI (1912) p. 533. In the 3d edition (1664) the designs are ascribed to the "Gran Titiano"; the participation of Titian is, however, questionable.
24 p. l., 499 numb. l. illus. (full-page woodcuts) 18 cm.
